SILENCE
AUFKLÄRUNG,
GERECHTIGKEIT, ENTSCHÄDIGUNG
Wie
ist es
möglich, dass ein Mensch in einer Gefängniszelle im sogenannten
„Sicherheitsgewahrsam“ verbrennt und die Todesumstände seit bald 20
Monaten
ungeklärt bleiben? Die offenen Fragen zu dem Todesfall Oury Jallohs
sind
zahlreich und erschreckend.
Umso
unfassbarer
ist die bislang fehlende Aufklärung von Seiten der Staatsanwaltschaft
und die
Behinderungen durch das Landgericht Dessau.
Am
7.1. 2005
wurde Oury Jalloh von der Dessauer Polizei in „Schutzhaft“ genommen, wo
er in
einer Gewahrsamszelle an Händen und Füßen an Wand und Boden „fixiert“
qualvoll
verbrannte.
Am
6.5.2005 hat die Staatsanwaltschaft Dessau gegen 2 Polizeibeamte
Anklage
erhoben, wegen Körperverletzung mit Todesfolge gegen den einen und
fahrlässiger
Tötung gegen den anderen. Die Anklage ist vom Landgericht Dessau bis
heute
nicht zugelassen worden. Die verantwortlichen Polizisten und der
Amtsarzt sind
weiterhin im Dienst.
Es
bedarf JETZT eines entschiedenen öffentlichen Drucks, damit der Prozess
tatsächlich eröffnet und mit der notwendigen kritischen Genauigkeit,
Transparenz und Konsequenz durchgeführt wird.

possible qu´un homme qui est détenu, pour une prétendue «garde à vue
pour
raisons de sécurité », meurt brûlé dans sa cellule et que les
circonstances de sa mort ne soient pas éclaircies depuis presque 20
mois? Les
questions non élucidées en ce qui concerne la mort d´Oury Jalloh sont
nombreuses et effrayantes. Il est d’autant plus inconcevable qu´il
manque
jusqu’ici l´élucidation de la part des avocats généraux et que le
tribunal de
grande instance de Dessau entrave plutôt les enquêtes.
Le
07.01.2005 Oury
Jalloh était arrêté et mis en « détention pour raisons de
sécurité »
par la police de Dessau où il est mort brûlé dans
d'atroces souffrances
dans une cellule de garde à vue, pendant qu´il était fixé avec ses
mains et ses
pieds au mur et au sol.
Le
06.05.2005 l´avocat général de Dessau a engagé
des poursuites contre deux policiers pour coups et
blessures entraînant la mort pour l’un entre eux et homicide
involontaire pour
l’autre. Toutes autres possibilités sont déjà exclues dans
l´inculpation.
L´inculpation n´est pas acceptée jusqu´à ce jour par le tribunal de
grande
instance de Dessau. Les policiers responsables et le médecin légiste
sont
toujours en fonction.
C´est
maintenant
qu´on a besoin de renforcer les pressions pour que le procès soit
réellement
engagé et qu’il soit mené résolument avec une précision critique et une
transparence adéquate.

How
is it possible that a human being
can lose his life in a jail cell, burned alive in a so-called 'security
tract', and the circumstances regarding
his death remain a mystery twenty months later? The unanswered
questions
regarding Oury Jalloh's death are as numerous as they are shocking.
Even more
unfathomable, however, is the complete lack of clarification on the
part of the
State Prosecutor and the obstructions of the District Court of Dessau.
On
the 7th of January, 2006, Oury Jalloh
was
taken into 'protective detention' by the Dessau Police, where he die an
excruciating death; burned alive while 'fixed' at his hands and feet to
the
wall and floor.
On the 6th of May, 2005, the State
Prosecutor of Dessau formally
filed charges against two police officers, one
for bodily harm resulting in death and the other for negligent
homicide.
All other possibilities have been excluded from the State Prosecutor's
accusation. The District Court of
Dessau has still not accepted to take on the case.
In
order to see that a trial will take
place—including the necessary critical precision, transparency and
consequences—resolute public pressure is needed NOW! With this fax
campaign, we
want to confront the tendency in this society to be silent and forget;
we want
to make clear to the District Court of Dessau that the scandalous
hindrance of
the clarification regarding Oury Jalloh's death will no longer be
accepted; and
we want to let those responsible know that there is widening and
resolute protest
that demand clarification regarding the death of Oury Jalloh.
